ASHOF Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame
The Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame (ASHOF) is committed to recognizing and preserving the legacy of individuals who have brought honor, prestige, and fame to Arkansas through their exceptional achievements and contributions in both amateur and professional sports. Additionally, the ASHOF is dedicated to promoting higher education by providing scholarships to deserving student-athletes.
Every year, the ASHOF grants ten scholarships, each worth $1,000, to deserving high school seniors who are student-athletes in Arkansas. The recipients of these scholarships will be honored at the ASHOF's annual Induction Banquet, scheduled for April 11, 2025, at the Oaklawn Resort in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The scholarships will be awarded based on the quality of written essays and will be given to 5 male and 5 female student-athletes who will be joining Arkansas colleges in the fall of 2025. The scholarship funds will be directly transferred to the Arkansas college that the student will be attending. A panel of esteemed ASHOF Board members, including some ASHOF inductees, will evaluate all submitted essays. The winners will be informed by March 30, 2025, and all decisions made by the ASHOF will be final.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Applicants must be graduating seniors from an Arkansas high school (AAA member) for the 2024-2025 academic year.
