Intro
The Arkansas Cattlemen's Association, with support from generous partners, awards more than $15,000 each year to help develop exceptional young Arkansans. 2026 scholarship applications are now open. Because each scholarship has different deadlines and requirements, please review individual listings carefully.

Summer Internship — Little Rock Office
- Position runs May through August (exact start/end dates to be arranged with the selected intern).
- Paid position with housing provided.
- Typical office hours; some evenings and travel will be required.
- Tasks include general office duties (answering phones, front-office support) and serving as a member of the ACA staff team to assist in planning the Annual Convention & Trade Show.
- Project work in previous years has included: redesigning the policy book, contributing articles to the magazine, email marketing campaigns, membership recruitment and retention efforts, and event planning.
- Eligibility: open to any college student; preference given to Arkansas residents pursuing agriculture-related studies.
- Applications are currently being accepted and will close March 1.

Convention Internships — Annual Convention & Trade Show
- Internship covers the convention week, August 4–9, with activities split between Little Rock and Fort Smith.
- Interns will help prepare for and implement the convention event plan established by ACA staff.
- This is an unpaid, week-long internship; housing and meals for the week are provided.
- Interns will have networking opportunities with vendors and members.
- Three to four interns will be selected.
- Applications are open now and will close July 5.

Arkansas Cattlemen's Producer of the Year — 3rd Annual
The ACA is accepting nominations for the 3rd Annual Arkansas Cattlemen's Producer of the Year award. This accolade honors Arkansans who have made exceptional contributions to the state’s cattle industry through leadership, innovation, and committed service.

Nomination requirements and deadline
- Nominees should demonstrate notable achievements in cattle management, involvement in their community, and advocacy for the cattle industry.
- The nominee must be an ACA member in good standing.
- Nominations must be submitted on the official application form and completed as fully and accurately as possible.
- Self-nominations are welcome.
- The winner will be recognized at the ACA Awards Banquet during Convention and is expected to attend.
- Nomination deadline: June 30, 2026.
