Overview
PART Austin is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship awards. Each scholarship below provides $2,000 and supports undergraduate educational advancement while honoring or recognizing community leaders.
PART Austin University of Texas at Austin Scholarship ($2,000)
- Purpose: Awarded to an exceptional Latin American undergraduate student (male or female).
- Eligibility: Must be enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin as an undergraduate (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior) and maintain current enrollment at the time of application.
- Dedication: Established in honor of Charles Wilson and Jeannie Hunter Hackett.
PART Austin First Generation Scholarship ($2,000)
- Purpose: Supports a Latina undergraduate who will be the first in her family to attend college and earn a degree.
- Eligibility: Open only to Latina undergraduates (freshman through senior). High school applicants and graduate students are not eligible. Applicant must reside in the Greater Austin area and have been accepted to and be enrolled in a college or university.
- Origin: Initiated by Gloria Mata Pennington.
PART Austin Post-Secondary Scholarship ($2,000)
- Purpose: Helps an economically disadvantaged Latina undergraduate continue and complete her education.
- Eligibility: Available only to Latina undergraduates (not high school or graduate students) living in the Greater Austin area. Applicants may be enrolled in a trade or vocational program, a community college, or a four-year college or university.
- Dedication: Created in honor of Mitty Guerra.
