Lawrence E. and Mabel Jackson Rudberg Scholarship

The Lawrence E. and Mabel Jackson Rudberg Scholarship Fund was created to support graduating high school seniors pursuing college. Lawrence Rudberg, a longtime economics professor, and Mabel Jackson Rudberg, an elementary school teacher, lived in Duluth and Two Harbors and devoted their careers to education. Valuing the transformative power of higher education, they established this fund to make college more attainable for deserving students.
Eligibility
- Open to graduating seniors from Two Harbors Senior High School (given preference) and to graduates of Duluth-area public and private schools, including Duluth Denfeld, Duluth East, Marshall School, Harbor City International School, and Lakeview Christian Academy.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Applicants should show a record of strong academic achievement.
Award Range
- $5,000 per year, renewable for up to four years (maximum total $20,000).
