Introduction
In 2020, attorney Ben Volpe launched Volpe Law LLC in Denver, Colorado. Since then, the firm has advised business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs on protecting their futures through deliberate legal planning. Our reputation is reflected in more than 65 five‑star Google reviews and a 10.0 rating on Justia. We are honored to serve as counsel to seven‑ and eight‑figure companies in commercial litigation, real estate matters, and as outside general counsel. From the beginning, the firm was built on a commitment to put clients first — a value we aim to pass on to the next generation of litigators.

1) Businesses often operate in regulatory and compliance gray areas. How would you craft a litigation strategy that complies with the law while meeting your ethical obligations?
2) In business litigation, what does “putting the client first” mean to you, and how can that philosophy shape long‑term legal results?
3) How do you intend to use your legal training to resolve commercial disputes in ways that promote justice, protect community interests, and reflect your personal values?

Award use
The scholarship award of $1,000 is intended to help cover educational costs, including textbooks, course supplies, and other academic expenses.

We look forward to reading essays from applicants who share our focus on client‑first representation and ethical practice.
