About the APIA Scholarship program
APIA Scholars provides awards for undergraduate students enrolled in U.S.-accredited institutions. Individual scholarships range from $2,500 for single-year awards up to $20,000 for multi-year awards. We prioritize applicants who are first-generation college students and those living at or below the poverty line. Our scholarships support students attending both 2-year and 4-year colleges, and we offer opportunities for those who are currently enrolled as well as those planning to enroll.
Geographic reach
Since our founding, APIA Scholars has granted scholarships to students across all 50 states (including Hawaii and Alaska) and to students from the American Pacific Islands, such as Guam, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau.
Eligibility requirements
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident. Additionally, citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau are eligible.
- Be enrolling or continuing as a degree-seeking undergraduate student at a U.S.-accredited college or university for fall 2026. Both full-time and part-time degree-seeking students may apply.
