Iowa Farm Bureau Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Iowa Farm Bureau
Introduction
The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF), together with many of its 100 county Farm Bureaus, offers scholarship opportunities for students planning to attend college. You only need to complete a single application to be considered for state-level awards as well as any local county scholarships for which you qualify.
IFBF State Scholarships — Up to $10,000 per recipient
IFBF will select 27 graduating high school seniors from Iowa — three recipients from each of IFBF’s nine districts — to receive a $2,500 scholarship that is renewable for up to four years (maximum of $10,000 per student). These state scholarships are open only to graduating high school seniors; current college and graduate students are not eligible. Each of the 100 county Farm Bureaus will nominate one application from their county to be forwarded for consideration for these state awards. Recipients must meet the scholarship requirements each year to maintain renewal.
Local County Farm Bureau Scholarships
Many of the 100 county Farm Bureaus in Iowa administer their own local scholarships. Availability, eligibility rules, and award amounts differ by county. Contact your local County Farm Bureau office for details about what is offered in your area.
